Well I never lived in or even visited another country so I have no experience with viewing how those people seem to be. It's only in my own country, the US, have I had many, many experiences viewing people. Therefore this is my perspective on how people are or how people seem to be.
I asked this question on the site quora today. I fear I make make many a person angry at me for asking such a question. However I feel like this is a very important question to ask.
My son and I had a very bad day today. We tend to get ourselves into these jams and or you might say "pickles." Some days we make such stupid decisions. And since we are poor people, or should I say very low income people, we just can't afford to make bad decisions. A bad decision will cause one of us, or even both of us, allot of hell. By "hell" I mean suffering. On days like today life is not fun, life is difficult.
And as bad as I think my life is in general or can be especially on a bad day like today, life for zillions of people out there is much worse then my life.
Anyhow, getting back to today's happenings. And this same similar thing has happened to us on numerous occasions.
Sunday is a not a good choice day for poor and low income people to go out on the bus. Because on Sunday the buses always quit early.
Some kind people offered my son some of that dia... earth stuff for our cat and our apartments flea problem. We had 2 hours to get to this coffee shop and meet the people to get the stuff. I asked my son if we had enough time to catch the bus back home and he assured me that we did. Well things didn't work out so well and we ended up walking a very long ways to catch 1 of the last buses.
People never stop and offer you a ride. Even if someone did, we would probably be to scared to trust a complete stranger and ride with them. But when you are getting older like myself, you can only walk so far and then you just don't want to walk any further. You are just to tired to walk anymore. I got myself into a very bad, angry mood which didn't help matters for either of us. So if some kind person would of offered us a ride and they seemed pretty safe I think I would of taken them up on it.
How is it many persons can consider themselves Christians or even good people and never see that a person, or persons, might be in dire need of a ride. Can they not see the stress fatigue and sun burn on the persons face? Are people really so selfish as to not care about persons (like us 2 today) that were really in need of help?
It just seems like in today's world you'd better be able to depend on yourself or you are really going to be at a loss.
Why does it have to be like this?

Why does it have to be like this?
Once upon a time, Master Fo Yin and a poet, Su Dongpo, were good friends. The poet was known to be rude and abrasive. One day, he came to Fo Yin's house and sat in a meditative pose and asked his friend, “Tell me, who do I look like?”
ReplyDeleteThe monk smiled and said, “You look like the Buddha.”
The poet turned around and said, “And do you know what you look like? You look like a pile of shit!”
The monk just smiled. Su Dongpo was perplexed at this, but he was feeling smug because he had finally outwitted Fo Yin. So he went home and told his sister Xiaomei about it. Then his sister just laughed. “You idiot!”
Su Dongpo looked puzzled. “What?”
His sister said, “Master Fo Yin has reached the Buddha in his heart, so in his eyes everyone looks like the Buddha. You said he looked like a pile of shit. That means your head is full of shit.”
This is not unlike what they teach in the Law of Attraction. If you're not seeing a lot of good people in the world, maybe you need to look at yourself and what kind of person you are.
